Quiet Interlude Processing System (QuIPS) – an Automated, Multi-INT Data Fusion Processor
QuIPS represents a breakthrough in real time, automated, multi source data fusion. QuIPS fuses tactical, acoustic, and national sensor data from the QuIPS Netted Sensor GRID into a clear and accurate Land, Air, and Maritime Domain Awareness (LAMDA) picture for JOINT Forces.
QuIPS is being integrated into a NAVSEA Program of Record (PoR) called CV-Tactical Support Center (CV-TSC) that is operational on all CVNs. A land version of CV-TSC/QuIPS is now being developed for GWOT and MDA applications. A large JOINT PoR called the Network Centric Collaborative Targeting (NCCT) System is in the initial proposal phase of integrating QuIPS/CV-TSC to produce a Nested Sensor GRID (NSG).
