Precision Airdrop System (PADS®)
PADS® products enable aircrews to increase standoff distance while delivering cargo and personnel from high altitude with even greater precision than conventional methods. The combination of altitude and standoff distance provides a safety buffer for the aircrew from the threat envelope while precision delivery allows ground personnel to retrieve supplies in greater safety.
Now in active use by the United States Military, over 100 PADS® supported missions have been flow. The PADS® system is also rapidly being adopted by other allied military units, including the RAF in the United Kingdom.
PADS® products include the JPADS-MP mission planning systems and the GPS-RTS GPS retransmission system.
