Mission Planning

Multi-vehicle optimal search paths

PSI's Mission Planning Program develops advanced algorithms and Tactical Decision Aids (TDAs) for optimal sampling and placement of environmental and tactical sensors in complex dynamic environments to support Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Mine CounterMeasures (MCM), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and the Global War on Terror (GWoT).

Projects include CURVE (Coordinated Unmanned vehicle Routing in Variable Environments) for GWoT, SCOUT (Sensor Coordination for Optimal Utilization and Tactics) for sonobuoy placement, and SEALOG (Sustainably Energized Adaptive Littoral Ocean Grid) for persistent ocean surveillance.
